Description
The calcaneus is the largest bone of the foot and a fundamental element in the biomechanics of walking and standing. It absorbs the impact of every step and serves as the attachment for the Achilles tendon. This 3D printed model shows the key anatomical landmarks — the sustentaculum tali, the calcaneal tuberosity and the articular surfaces for the talus and cuboid bone — making it useful for studying foot anatomy, podiatry and orthopedic education. Made from PLA, the model is durable enough for regular use in teaching.
