Description
The cervical vertebrae are the smallest and most mobile vertebrae of the spinal column, and C3 is a typical representative of the cervical region. This 3D printed model shows the characteristic features of cervical vertebrae — the small body, the bifid spinous process, the transverse processes with their foramina for the vertebral artery (foramina transversaria) and the triangular vertebral canal. The model is well suited for comparison with vertebrae from other segments of the spine and for studying cervical biomechanics. Made from PLA, it is durable enough for regular use in teaching.
