Description
The scapula is the flat, triangular bone on the back of the thorax that connects the humerus with the clavicle. Its complex morphology — with the spine, acromion, coracoid process and glenoid cavity — makes it a central structure for understanding shoulder biomechanics and pathology. This 3D printed model provides a detailed view of all the key anatomical landmarks, including the supraspinous and infraspinous fossae, the medial and lateral borders and the infraglenoid tubercle. Made from PLA, the model is durable enough for regular use in teaching.
