Description
The tibia is the main weight-bearing bone of the lower leg and the second-largest bone in the human body. It transmits load from the knee to the foot and is a key structure for understanding the biomechanics of the lower limb. This 3D printed model shows the key anatomical landmarks — the medial and lateral condyles, the intercondylar eminence, the tibial tuberosity (tuberositas tibiae), the interosseous border and the medial malleolus — making it useful for studying the anatomy of the knee and ankle. Made from PLA, the model is durable enough for regular use in teaching.
